Transmylohyoid orotracheal intubation in maxillofacial surgery

Airway management in craniomaxillofacial surgery can be challenging when jaw relationships are altered, as nasal intubation is often difficult and carries risks during the procedure. This study presents transmylohyoid intubation with an orotracheal tube as a safe alternative, reducing the chances of obstruction, accidental extubation, and the need for tracheostomy.
